A dinner party (private)

The carriage pulled up tot he large doors of the Davka mansion. Kikiri stepped out of the carriage and into the house where her father was waiting.

"Where were you young lady? You do remember that you were supposed to meat that boy from the Kreis family?" He asked as Kikiri entered the house.

"I know dad, but thats not until tonight." She said as two maids came and began tending to her.

"If you are not ready by tonight. So help me i will... Flynn said stopping mid sentence and leaving for his chamber.

Kikiri followed the maids to a room in the mansion where her clothes were removed, and disposed of. The maids wrapped her in a towel. She then entered the large bathroom which had a large circular stone hot spring in it. She removed her towel, and entered the hot watter.

"Leave me." Kikiri said to the two maids who obeyed. "The one part of this house i don't hate."

A woman in a white dress entered the room and walked around the hot spring until she was across from Kikiri. "Hi mom" Kikiri said to the woman. "You went and got yourself all beat up again didn't you?" The woman asked as she walked across the water until she was just in front of Kikiri. "What else am i supposed to do?" She asked the floating apparition of her mother. "Do what you believe is right dear. Like i always told you." With that Kikiri's mother disappeared with the steam of the room.

Kikiri began to caress her body. Her hands ran down her arms, breasts, and stomach. The scars felt rough compared to her naturally smooth skin. She had almost gotten used to the feel of the scars which covered her body, yet still whenever she touched them she was reminded of that dreadful day eleven years ago. Kikiri's hands made their way down her legs, one of the only part of her body that was devoid of scars. Why Don't i know what i believe is right? She thought while massaging herself. "Why?"

A maid entered the room and gave a bow. "mistress. You must get out, you need to get dressed for dinner." Kikiri stood up and exited the hotspring. The maid came up to her, and began to dry Kikiri's body with a towel. When she finished she wrapped Kikiri in the towel and escorted Kikiri to her room.

The maid dressed Kikiri in a nice red and white dress with two black bows. At the same time a second mage was combing her hair. When the maids had finished with her a butler came to her room and escorted her to a carriage outside of the mansion where her father waited for her

"If we keep the Kreis family waiting much longer relations between our two families may not survive."

"Of course, father."

The Kreis mansion wasn't as big as Kikiri'z house, but it was still larger than any of the middle or lower class houses. Four horses pulled the carriage through the large gates, and up to the front door. Kikiri and her father entered the house and were escorted by a butler to a large room with wooden walls and a bright red carpet. A fire danced in each hearth on either side of the room. A man sat in a large chair facing one of the fires. Smoke rose from a pipe in the man's hand while a book occupied the other. " Your guests, Flynn and Kikiri Davka, Mr. Kreis." The butler said formally before leaving the room. Mr. Kreis stood from his chair, and placed his book on a small table beside it. "Flynn! You old bastard! How are things with you?" He said holding his arms out to his sides. Flynn opened his arms and the two men hugged. "life has it's ups, and its downs." Flynn said with an emphasis on the second part. Kikiri could feel that the last part was directed towards her.

"I would like to introduce you to my daughter, Kikiri. Flynn said stepping aside from Mr. Kreis. Kikiri dropped into a deep curtsy while saying, "It is a pleasure to meet you Mr. Kreis. Flynn smiled, most probably from his daughters obedience. "My dear there is no need to be so formal, you can just call me Ty." Mr. Kreis replied while hugging Kikiri. I would do anything to get out of here right now. Kikiri thought.

"Father where is the.... oh. A boy Kikiri's age said as he rushed down the stairs, stopping mid sentence when he saw Kikiri. He approached her, took her hand, and kissed the back of it while giving a bow. "It is an honor to met you my lady." He said formally. "Kikiri Davka." she replied in an emotionless voice. Great another guy my dad's probably gonna try to hook me up with.. FUCK! She thought her thoughts hidden behind a smile. "This is my son Felix." Ty said. "Son the Davka's will be joining us for dinner tonight."
